Ghost Bikes are small and somber memorials for bicyclists who are killed or hit on the street. A bicycle is painted all white and locked to a street sign near the crash site. They serve as reminders of the tragedy that took place on an otherwise anonymous street corner, and as quiet statements in support of cyclists right to safe travel.

Shot over 2 days in Central London and Thames Mead, the Nokia Misfits promos are a set of cinematic and engaging films promoting the newly released E4 show, The Misfits. Never fully revealing the character's identities, the promos subtly hint upon the super powers harnessed by each of the cast.

Born from a love of classic 80s war films Spheres of Fury is an action packed pastiche. The bravado and attitude that pours from these movies is nothing but a treat to watch, our modern remake aims to capture some of those magical moments but with a slightly comical, modern stance.

Director: Christopher Hewitt & Tim Brown
Producer: Matthew Mager
Director of Photography: Dan Trapp

Directed by Christopher Hewitt the promo for Collide Sparks is a some what alternative look at the resulting force of heightened collisions, plus it was a great excuse to fling a few taxidermy foxes around the studio.

Good Morning Rachel is a voyeuristic short film peering in on the morning after a young couple's first internet date. The film follows a sequence of increasingly disturbing events that take place whilst Rachel sleeps. Unknown to her the stranger who spent the night is after much more than just a one night stand.

Producer: Matthew Mager

Commissioned by John St, Toronto I teamed up once again with German power house Sehsucht for this African inspired commercial for tea giants Tetley. The spot is a fluid and slightly abstracted journey through an underwater world built entirely from the red bush tea. As the tea is grown and picked in Africa the brief was to create a rich and elegant representation of the country and its culture.

Agency: John St
Production Company: The Ebeling Group, New York
Director: Christopher Hewitt
VFX: Sehsucht

I was commissioned by creative Agency Dixon & Baxi to Direct and Produce the new show package for Sci-Fi Movies in the UK. The main titles hold a mix of mediums and trends combined into one pacey spot that transpire into the theme of 'Anything Can Happen'. Aside from the mix of 3D and 2D animation we spent 2 days in Jason Tozer's studio filming everything from exploding mirrors to vibrating cornstarch.

Directed by myself and Rob Chiu the OFFF New York Titles were produced for the OFFF 2007 Festival held at the Tribeca Performing Arts Centre, NY. Our titles where shot over a 2 day period as we ran around the city trying to capture a 'New Yorker's' New York. Aside from the title production we also spoke at the event alongside the likes of Prologue, Tronic & Commonwealth.

After reading a lot of Steven Hawkins and Richard Dawkin's work I was inspired to create a sixty second short based around the birth of evolution and the over growing power of nature. Reading nature followings an abstract vision of the big bang and the growth of humanity. Ben Lukas Boysen also created a magical score that binds the two mediums perfectly. Reading Nature was also screened at Lumen Eclipse in 2008.

Motion collective Devoid of Yesterday (consisting of Directors Christopher Hewitt & Rob Chiu) team up again (along with audio designer Ben Lukas Boysen of Hecq) for a new short narrative led piece that explores a child's pent up anger and frustration that erupt in a force that marks the end of innocence. Sometimes... things just fall apart.

Winters Poem was produced for PSST! Pass It On 2, a motion collective co-ordinated by Bran Dougherty. The collective invites a number of Directors to produce a 30 second clip revolving around a mixture of themes, my given theme was scale. With Winter's Poem I wanted to convey how when your a child everything seems so much larger and fiercesome... from puddles to trees. Rivers to fields.
